Stray Dogs just combined interactive musical ui narrative adventure game visual novel type. They were inspired by the creators. m.in. Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dear Evan Hansen and Life Is Strange. It is the first production by Australian independent studio Summerfall.

Stray Gods PC – Review:

Grace is voiced by Laura Bailey (Spider-Man, Gears 5). Traf wanted to find the injured singer of the band in his apartment; just before her death, the woman reveals that she is a muse and gives her musical abilities to our character. This is how the story of urban fantasy begins, full of lurking dangers, conspiracies and mythological gods and creatures. The player must exonerate himself and escape the punishment of a secret society called The Choir.

The game takes place in a modern world full of elements drawn from Greek mythology. During the adventure, we visit the Conference Hall of the new Olympus, the world of the dead nightclub or the foggy Hall of the Reliquary, where the Minotaur himself is in office. The Chorus not only has a musical character and emphasizes mythical accents, but is also full of mystery and amazement. In building a specific atmosphere, strange and twisted characters help, to which the writer approached very comprehensively. Despite the rather serious cover, the game is also full of witty dialogues, and with selected NPCs you can even romance.

Stray Gods PC is a narrative game, so the gameplay is mainly based on dialogue. However, unlike typical visual novel Productions, special abilities gained from the deceased muse can be used in conversations with independent characters to manipulate them (for example, to encourage them to reveal a lie) and obtain useful information. It is music that sets the tone for the conversation. However, the approach to it depends on the player and is based on three pillars corresponding to the following qualities: charm, cunning and failure. The choice of dialogue lines looks like in recent BioWare games, and although it is important because it affects the lyrics as well as the gameplay itself, it is not necessary to succeed in the conversation. You need to skillfully adapt to the character of the character.
